Core Ontario 40nm versi dual core sudah memiliki internal graphic. Uniknya procesor AMD mendatang ini hanya butuh 18W power. Core Ontario datang dari pengembangan Bobcat.
AMD melihat tantangan dari Intel untuk mengeluarkan procesor kecil dan hemat power sekelas Atom procesor. Tetapi AMD lebih memilih menyatukan graphic procesor kedalam chip CPU untuk procesor mendatang.
Untuk single core tidak memiliki GPU pada procesor. Tetapi pemakaian power sangat rendah dengan 5.5W. Menyaingi kemampuan Intel CULV Core 2 Solo SU3500 1.4Ghz atau Atom procesor. Intel memiliki procesor hemat CULV sampai 10W kebutuhan power, sedangkan Atom hanya 2.5W TDP.
Pesaing terbaru dari Intel Atom memiliki seri N4xx dengan TDP 5.5W, sudah termasuk GPU dan CPU. Bila AMD bersaing dengan mengeluarkan BobCat, dipastikan AMD akan kalah.
Core Ontario nantinya akan dipasarkan pada tahun 2011, mengunakan DDR3. Menargetkan pasar Notebook embeded hardware dan SFF.
